The Senior Slide
Well like 37 people have already written about this but I'm super non-creative so who cares. I'll admit I was not feeling the senioritis a couple weeks ago, but after a grueling week of work and midterms with a tough cold I am feeling tired and slothful. I really hope colleges don't see second semester grades because I am really going into full coast mode and I do not want to go back. Part of me wonders if not overly exerting myself will make me feel lousy and unaccomplished, but so far so good!

Girl Scout Cookies
God I love girl scout cookies. Although I personally never was a girl scout, my understanding is that the girl scouts teach young girls values and skills for life. This is a great initiative, and in addition to these valuable skills and lessons the girl scouts provide the public with the greatest gift that anyone could ever offer: cookies. And damn if these aren't the best cookies I have ever put in my mouth. Girl scout cookies, despite their seasonal availability and high price, provide a pleasure on par with snow days or the musical stylings of Sean Paul. Thank you for your time and long live the girl scouts.

I Hate December Break
If I ever need to be reminded that doing nothing of purpose is depressing and boring, December break will always be there to remind me. It's the same every year: after a long four month grind of school, work, late nights of homework, buying people Christmas presents and then realizing I have no money, and college applications, my risk of having a heart attack is at an all time-high every December. I enjoy a few slothful days with my family and friends laying around while I sleep, watch TV, play video games and clog my arteries with hot dogs and mac and cheese. After a few blissful days of this vegetative and parent-disappointing lifestyle, my lethargic tendencies catch up with me, and I begin to long for a stack of homework or to be at work cleaning some kid's piss off the floor. Needless to say I am excited to be back in the saddle riding the horse of responsibility and purpose. Giddyup!
