Naps

I love naps. Anytime I feel groggy or tired a nap is a great way to hit the reset button and get a clean slate on the rest of the day. Sometimes this can be negative though. It is harder to get to sleep at night on days where I nap and it can screw with your sleep cycle. Studies have found that naps can improve cognitive and memory function. Naps can also lower blood pressure. If you have insomnia (I definitely don't) then naps can be terrible and destroy your drive to get sleep. Often feeling overly tired during the day can indicate sleep apnea or poor sleeping position. Napping will not help these conditions, but using some kind of sleep apnea device will.
