The NBA Playoffs: Round 1
There are a lot of things happening in the NBA playoffs right now, and many of them make me very mad. Article 1 is of course my beloved Celtics, who got stuck with a tough first round match up in Atlanta and have dropped three of five games. The Celtics have maintained their defensive prowess despite losing starting shooting guard Avery Bradley, but their shot selection and offensive discipline has been nothing short of infuriating to me. Watching them toss up ill-advised threes and well contested shots is unbearable for me to watch. Another team that irks me is the Los Angeles Clippers, who despite their talented roster have dropped three straight games. The Miami Heat are in the same position as the Clippers. One surprise has been the relative not-awfulness of the Toronto Raptors, who have a habit of exiting the playoffs in an early and unceremonious fashion. Unsurprisingly, the Warriors, Spurs, and Cavaliers all finished their series' early, and The Oklahoma City Thunder will be following them to the second round shortly.
